ABOUT
An award-nominated artiste (MoB Awards 2007 Finalist - Best Newcomer) Daiquiri Dusk is one of Scotland's sassiest starlets. An established performer with a background in musical theatre and dance, she has entertained a plethora of clients at public events, club nights, charity fundraisers, festivals and corporate parties as well as appearing in numerous short films and on television.
Having trained with the Academy of Burlesque & Cabaret, Daiquiri offers her own take on burlesque - cutesy cheesecake at its best, incorporating a range of acts, from strip-teasing to tassel twirling to fan-dancing and balloon popping. Bawdy music hall humour and Scottish Highland dance collide with sassy American striptease in this unique new act. Everyone knows what a true Scotsman wears under his kilt, but what about the Scottish lass? Has naebody wondered... whit's above her hose?
Opening with a comical poetic rendition, Daiquiri shows the audience what she keeps under her kilt...

A well-known showtune complimented by a dazzling silver and turquoise costume... what do you get? Traditional burlesque showmanship and striptease with an explosive, tassel-twirling finale.

~Diamond Balloon Pop~
A rhinestone-studded traditional act, join Daiquiri for balloon popping and sparkly fun as she takes you back to the Golden era of burlesque with this classic number.

~Ivy Fan Dance~
Join Daiquiri in the twilight hours, as she takes the audience on a fantasy trip into a gothic dream. Her face masked, she is swathed in shadows and seems to echo rather than dance behind huge purple fans.

~Sweetheart Surprise~
Dressed in a striking red and black number, this sassy striptease has Daiquiri casting off her inhibitions (and clothes)and culminates with a grand tassel-twirling finish!

~A Walk on the Promenade~
Inspired by 1950s cheesecake, this number incorporates mild striptease and parasol twirling, to whisk you back in time to the good old days of innocent fun.

~Traditional Fan Dance~
The perfect burlesque act for a general evening of entertainment. Performing a traditional fan dance with dusky pink fans to the well-known burly tune 'The Stripper', Daiquiri recreates the peek-a-boo fun of classic burlesque in this cheeky routine.

~Cigarette Girl~
An ambient act, Daiquiri also provides her own wares (tassels and fascinators) for sale at events if you're looking for that little something extra to get the crowd in the mood for fun.
